Our Story​

​Raully Jones has called Marin County home for over 35 years, raising his two sons and building Raully Jones Construction from a small field operation into RJ General Builders, Inc., a full-service construction firm with HAZ-Substance Removal Certification known for thoughtful execution and dependable results. An avid hiker and long-time resident, Raully is deeply aware of both the privilege and responsibility that come with living and working in Marin County.

This awareness of the land, neighborhoods, and biodiversity that define the region shapes how he approaches every project. It is also fundamental to how RJ General Builders is structured, influencing our decisions, our methods, and how we serve our clients. Care is given not only to the homes we build and improve, but also to the environment and communities in which they exist.

We also provide Pre-Construction Services, including coordination, feasibility review, and the preparation necessary to advance a project toward permitting and construction. Our capabilities further include Permit Expediting, Hazardous Substance Removal and Remediation, and Home-Hardening Services focused on wildfire risk reduction.

These services allow us to support projects from early feasibility through completion, with a clear understanding of site conditions, regulatory requirements, and safety considerations.

We maintain comprehensive commercial general liability and workers’ compensation insurance coverage, ensuring compliance with California law and a high standard of safety across all projects. Whether planning a small remodel or a large-scale renovation, our clients can move forward with confidence knowing they are working with a properly licensed and insured contractor providing services in accordance with CSLB requirements and applicable California regulations.
